Abba Father.
Galatians 4:6 ‘And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.’ We pray with full assurance of faith when we cry ‘Abba, Father’.
It is not presumption.
It is the glorious relationship we have been brought into in Christ.
We do not beg for His mercy or seek His blessing on our desires.
We come as children who are the recipients of His love
and who seek to do His will.
We can approach the throne of God with boldness.
We have access at all times.
We are not strangers and outsiders
but sons and daughters of the living God.
There is no greater joy than the Spirit of Christ within us
crying ‘Abba Father’.
